The Tavistock Heritage Festival (16-18 September)
Performance of material from The William Morris Songbook, 2.45 pm, Saturday 17 September, St Eustachius’ Church, Tavistock
Crantock Festival (17-18 September)
Saturday early evening (17 September, from ca 6 pm onward. NB: we are in Tavistock all afternoon!!!)
At Lostfest, we played a 40 minute slot on the main stage (11.30 am!!), and two shorter sessions in the Social Club (1230 pm) and inside the Church (2.30 pm). We were very pleased to meet up with our friends Emma & Lizzie from Salt & Sky, and Figurehead. We sang songs which reflected our experiences as a band over our first year performing, including tributes to Phil Ochs, and Glenn Frey.
Thanks for Lostfest photos, Phil Ouless
TEIGNMOUTH FOLK FESTIVAL
What a great, friendly place for a Festival!
And Catie gve her wonderful version of
TOLPUDDLE MARTYRS FESTIVAL
Catie and Eddie sang two songs on the open mic: Willie McBride and H-Bomb’s Thunder.
‘H-Bomb’s Thunder’ was maybe not entirely the wisest choice with so many Unite and GMB members around. Whoops! However, here are a few more photos, including one of the new craze: Pokemon-Gopuddle
Here also are some of the wonderful banners we saw on the march (and Eddie’s photo of Jeremy Corbyn!!!)
And here are Catie and Eddie on the march with UCU members
Finally, Eddie just couldn’t leave this one out (you can take the boy out of Devizes, …)
DARTMOOR FOLK FESTIVAL (5-7 August)
Never made it!!! Lergy struck two of us down (Cheers, Cillian!!!)
CORNWALL FOLK FESTIVAL (WADEBRIDGE), 26-29 August
Here we are on the Bridge on Wool Stage, Sunday 28th Aug.
And many thanks, D-J Daniel, for excellent engineering.
